Past Adventures
As you can see from our past adventures (below) and our calendar of upcoming events, we are a busy Troop! Our youth and adult leadership strive to create opportunities for Scouts to get outdoors. We campout every month, either cabin or tent depending on the weather.


Rum River canoeing.
Date: June 6th Location: Rum River The troop enjoyed a fun canoe ride down the Rum River. They had a slow and casual ride, with calm waters and almost no one else on the water with them. Ending at sunset enjoying the beauty of the outdoors and finishing with ice cream.

Tomahawk
Date: June 21st-27th Location: Tomahawk Scout Camp This June the troop enjoyed a exciting weak at Tomahawk scout camp. Scouts got to enjoy activity's such as, canoeing and kayaking across the lake for ice cream, spending time at logging camp, as well as earning merit badges in scoutcraft, shooting ranges, ecology, the beach. Scouts cooked their own meals, and pitched their own tents and canopy. Scouts competed in eco bash and Sioux camp cup and proudly won both!

Spring merit badge weekend
Date: May 16th-18th Location: Almelund Threshing Company Our troop attended Spring merit badge weekend, where Scouts worked toward earning a variety of merit badges while enjoying a rain-free camping experience. They prepared their own meals and spent their free time playing games, exploring the grounds, visiting with one another, and enjoying the playground.

ILST
Date: April 18-19th Location: Stearns Scout Camp One of the most important parts of Scouting is leadership, and this campout is designed to help Scouts develop those skills. ILST serves as the foundation for both leadership and essential Scout skills. During this campout, Scouts learned what it truly means to be a leader and developed the skills needed to lead effectively.

Wilderness survival campout
Date: March 20th-22nd Location: Phillipo Scout camp Wilderness survival is a quintessential part of being a Scout, and our Scouts had the chance to practice those skills this past weekend. They learned how to start a fire safely and how to build a shelter using only a tarp and natural materials found in the environment. The Scouts had a fantastic time while gaining valuable knowledge that will serve them well in the outdoors.

Skiing campout
Date: Feb 27th - March 1st Location: Swanson Lodge The skiing campout is always a fan favorite. Scouts get the chance to have an amazing time at Trollhaugen Ski Resort, enjoying the slopes and building their skills. In addition to the fun, some Scouts also work toward earning the Snow Sports Merit Badge, adding to their accomplishments and making the experience even more rewarding.
